Return & Refund Policy

American Joe Coffee partners with a U.S.-based specialty roaster and fulfillment provider to ensure fresh, made-to-order coffee. Due to the nature of food products and custom fulfillment, the following policies apply.
Coffee & Consumable Products
All coffee and consumable products are final sale once an order has been processed or shipped. We do not accept returns of coffee for safety, quality, and food-handling reasons. However, we will replace or refund an order if one of the following occurs:
The incorrect product or grind was sent
The order arrived damaged or defective
A labeling or fulfillment error occurred
Requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Required Information
To evaluate a claim, customers must provide: Order number, Description of the issue, Clear photos of the product and packaging (when applicable)
Approved claims will be resolved with a replacement or refund, at our discretion.
Shipping & Delivery Issues
Incorrect Address or Customer Error
If an order is delayed, lost, or undeliverable due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided at checkout, the order is not eligible for a refund. A replacement may be issued at the customer’s expense.
Carrier Issues, Theft, or Marked “Delivered” Orders
In cases involving:
Carrier delays or mishandling
Packages marked as delivered but not received
Theft after delivery
American Joe Coffee will review each case individually. Depending on circumstances, we may:
File a carrier claim
Offer a replacement
Offer store credit or partial reimbursement
Shipping fees are non-refundable in these cases.
Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return or refund:
Opened or used coffee products
Digital products or gift cards
Clearance or final-sale items
Custom or limited-edition products (unless defective)
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Customers agree to contact American Joe Coffee directly to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
Chargebacks submitted in violation of this policy may result in:
Order denial
Account restriction
Loss of refund eligibility
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours
In cases of suspected abuse, refunds may be issued as store credit
